Connecting with customers

As we progress the National Grid Connection project, it’s important that we talk with you, our customers, so you can stay informed.

In October 2020 we hosted a pop-in day in Putaruru to talk with locals about the project. Around 50 people took the opportunity to come in, chat with us and ask questions about what’s happening.

For the customers living along the proposed route of the circuit we supplied information via letterboxes about the project, what it might look like and the impact construction may have.

We also took the opportunity to present an update to the South Waikato District Council.

We’ll continue to talk with residents, iwi and the Council as the project progresses.
