Lighting up the night
We’re proud to have sponsored the TSB Festival of Lights again this year.
Running for six weeks during December and January, the event is a significant date on the calendar for many and is enjoyed by around 150,000 people from around New Zealand each year.
For us at Powerco, having a presence at the Festival of Lights is the perfect opportunity to connect with our customers, Alicia Cameron, Marking Programmes Advisor says.
“Not only does our sponsorship of this popular community event allow us to continue to build brand awareness around who we are and what we do at Powerco, it’s also a chance to show our customers that we really are part of the communities we serve.”
On New Year’s Eve alone, around 6000 adults and kids enjoyed an evening of lights, music, and entertainment.
We invited festival goers to make memories with their family and friends at our Powerco Lights up the Night booth, which proved to be a hit. Those who had their picture taken also went into the draw to win a double pass to Synthony’s outdoor orchestra show on 23 January, which we are also delighted to sponsor.
As another attraction to draw in crowds at the festival, we also powered up the immersive UV Spaghetti light installation on the Palm Lawn, made up of 2000 metres of UV reactive rope.
