Whether you're building a new home, modifying an existing connection, or developing a subdivision, Powerco is here to guide you through the process. From standard network connections to custom designs for non-standard projects, we provide seamless, reliable energy solutions tailored to your needs.
To connect, disconnect or modify your electricity connection you will need to submit an application through the Powerco Connect portal. We recommend that you engage with an electrician early to determine your connection needs.
The process, timeframes and cost of your connection will depend on the following factors:
- Number of connections required
- Whether a network supply point is available
- Distance from the supply point
- Connection requirements (how many phases/amps you require)
- Current network capacity
- Any property rights that need to be established e.g. an easement from your neighbour to install and maintain electricity assets
