As you can imagine, owning and operating an electricity network 28,444km long supplying 345,000 customer connections means we have a lot of data.
That data includes information on our physical assets, how our network is performing, and of course, the customers we serve.
To ensure we collect, process and store customer data appropriately we’re now ISO27001 certified. ISO is an internationally-recognised organisation that sets best practice business standards. That means our customers can be confident that we’re managing our information security effectively to protect their data.
We have processes, and security controls in place which govern their use, to ensure the personal customer data we receive from our retailer partners is protected across our systems.
