Festival of Lights support

If you’re in Taranaki during the summer holidays, make sure you head along to the TSB Festival of Lights at Pukekura Park. Powerco is again sponsoring this fantastic free event that runs every summer in the beautiful Pukekura Park in New Plymouth.

This year we have our name on UV Spaghetti XL, set up in the children’s playground. Designed by New Zealand artist Angus Muir, UV Spaghetti XL (pictured below) is described by the event organisers as ‘the festival’s most immersive and surreal experience,’ where you get to walk amongst 9km of UV rope.

As part of our sponsorship, we're also supporting Festival of Lights on Tour, when it moves to Inglewood’s Joe Gibbs Scenic Reserve from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday 8 January for a twilight picnic. Then, on Sunday 15 January between 7pm and 11pm, we’re off to West Quay in Waitara for the Illuminate Waitara event. For more about our support, click here.
